Melancholic, dark, and raw is the essence of EKKSTACY, the talented indie musician from Vancouver who broke through with the hit 'i walk this earth all by myself.'
Despite being only 21 years old, EKKSTACY draws significant inspiration from musical (punk) icons like The Drums, Misfits, and Christian Death. This creates his well-known, unique blend of post-punk and goth rock, breathing new life into 80s indie rock built for the SoundCloud era, where the catchy hooks and melodies won't let you go.
His upcoming self-titled album, set for release in January 2024, brings us collaborations with rappers Trippie Redd and The Kid LAROI. While the vibe of the single 'i walk this earth all by myself' serves as a guiding light for this album, fans can also expect a new sound. In addition to having more involvement in the album's production, you'll also hear brighter indie rock and surf punk influences in his music.
