Terror

Total Retaliation Invasion 2018

+ Deez Nuts / Backtrack / Risk It! / Cornered

The headliner of the evening is the hardcore band Terror from L.A., founded in 2002 by Scott Vogel from Buffalo, New York. The former lead singer of hardcore bands like Despair, Sludgefest and Buried Alive was angry about what went on for hardcore. He set himself the goal of regaining the genre by making hardcore as it had originated; in its most raw, honest and angry form. The band got an instant following of like-minded people and what started as an idea grew into a true crusade with shows on all continents.

Terror encompasses the cruelty that the genre had missed and thus became the hardcore flag carriers of the current generation.
The Australian Deez Nuts was founded in 2007 by former I Killed Prom Queen drummer JJ Peters. The band chose a Dr. Dre track as a name, the lyrics were influenced by hardcore punk and hip hop and the members concentrated mainly on partying and rioting. Meanwhile, the sound is slightly less party-stillo and more introspective but still hardcore with a dash of hip hop as we are used to.

The New York band Backtrack joined Terror to Europe before. You can easily have them responsible for warming up a room full of hardcore fans as these guys.

The five-heads counting hardcore outfit Risk It from East Germany connects energy and sincerity with their music, just hardcore without compromise!

The evening is kicked off by the hardcore band Cornered from Leeuwarden.
