Support: Like Moths To Flames
Brutal metalcore package containing the groovy Memphis May Fire, emotional Silverstein and spiritual The Devil Wears Prada. For over ten years these bands garantue raging, but positive shows with moshpits and crowdsurfers everywhere. All three already proved this with awesome shows in Melkweg, but this show marks the first time they'll share the Melkweg stage. Don't miss out!
The Devil Wears Prada is the musical embodiment of a generational shift. Built on a diverse array of heavy, dark, melodic and genre-defying music; hardened and sharpened by putting in road work together since the days when they had to skip class to tour: The Devil Wears Prada is at the forefront of a movement that bridges the gap between Rockstar Mayhem and the Vans Warped Tour.
Leading the rise of aggressive, melodic punk to the forefront of our attention, Silverstein cultivated a sound and work ethic that has brought them from basements and community centers in Burlington, ON, to main stages, and global festivals. The success of the group’s debut full-length, When Broken Is Easily Fixed (Victory 2003), marks a paradigm of the musical American (Canadian) Dream, as the band found themselves sharing both a label and countless stages with their musical idols. The marriage of melody and aggression on this effort and others since, cemented the band within an influential position of their own.
Memphis May Fire hail from Dallas, Texas and are remarked by their very intricate blend of hardcore, metal, and emo on-stage. Since 2009 they've released four studio albums and this year will see long-player number five.
Emerging from Dayton, Ohio in 2010, Like Moths to Flames hit the ground running from their inception and haven’t had the time to look back. By the end of 2010 the band had signed to metalcore label Rise Records.
