For all programmes, we follow the corona protocol of our branch association VNPF and take into account the guidelines of the government and RIVM. Below we explain what this means for your visit to the Melkweg.
Prior to your visit
After purchasing your ticket online, you will receive an email no later than the day of your visit with everything you need to know before your visit. To be able to spread the flow of visitors as evenly as possible and to let everyone into the venue on time, we also ask you to be at the Melkweg no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event. On your ticket you can find the time the venue opens, from that time you can join the queue. The definitive timetable, stating when the event starts, can be found on the events page on this website from a few days prior to the programme.
Till September 25, we're organising a few 1.5 metre events. For these events, you do not need a corona entry pass. For all events from September 25th onwards, a corona entry pass is required. You can get a corona entry pass if you're 1) proof of vaccination, 2) proof of recovery or 3) a negative test result of no more than 24 hours old. Testing remains free for anyone who does not have a recovery or vaccination certificate. Check for more information coronacheck.nl.
Proof of vaccination or recovery
You can upload your vaccination or recovery certificate in the CoronaCheck app. According to the guidelines, you are fully vaccinated if you have had two shots of the Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccine, or one shot from Janssen vaccine. If you have already had corona, one vaccination shot is also considered fully vaccinated.
The yellow vaccination booklet is not valid or official proof. Don't have a smartphone or would rather use paper proof? Then you can print your corona admission ticket via coronacheck.nl/nl/print/
1. Via the website www.testenvoortoegang.nl you can make a free appointment to be tested within 24 hours of the event. Your test result is valid for 24 hours, take into account this validity and the time you can enter the event. This can sometimes take longer due to queues.
2. Did you test negative? Then you can use the CoronaCheck app to convert your test result into a digital test certificate. If your result is positive, we ask you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. At our entrance we will scan your test certificate in addition to your admission ticket. Please also bring a valid ID as only the combination of an ID and a green screen will give access to the event.
Please note: we only grant access to visitors who have used the CoronaCheck app. A test via a GGD test lane, another test lane, a self-test or any other proof are therefore not valid.
Testing for access for non-Dutch visitors
Everyone who goes to a 'Testen voor Toegang' event can get tested. For information on how to obtain a valid corona admission ticket, please visit the website of the Dutch government.
International visitors within the EU can also gain access to events with a Digital Corona Certificate (DCC).
Please note that the DCC is valid for 72 hours and you must have a negative test result 40 hours before you want to gain access. If you have obtained a DCC with a negative travel test, you may be required to undergo a new test in the Netherlands as an international visitor.
During your visit
The following applies to everyone: show consideration for one another and use your common sense. You will be informed on site about walking routes and the use of the sanitary facilities and lockers. At the end of the programme, the walk-out will be in shifts to avoid bottlenecks. Our staff will provide instructions for this on site.
The basic rules for all our staff, visitors, artists and suppliers are as follows:
