The Italian rock band AFTERHOURS is coming to our capital in 2027!

AFTERHOURS was founded in 1986 by frontman Manuel Agnelli (singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, author). They continue to solidify their place as one of the most important and longest-running bands in Italian rock history. The current lineup consists of Manuel Agnelli (vocals), Andrea Viti (bass), Giorgio Prette (drums), Dario Ciffo (violin, guitars, keyboards), and Giacomo Rossetti (guitar, keyboards, percussion). The band’s name was intended as a tribute to The Velvet Underground and their song of the same name. They made their debut with the single “My Bit Boy” (1987), followed a year later by the mini-LP “All the Good Children Go to Hell.” In addition to their own work, the band also provided backing vocals for Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan’s collaborative project, the Gutter Twins.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut EP and the 25th anniversary of the album ‘Quello che non c’è’ (2002), the band is coming to Melkweg. A unique opportunity to experience this influential band live!
