Black Sabbath (1963)

50 Years Melkweg

Introduction: Ronald Simons

The Melkweg celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and with many programmes during the whole year. For film there's 50 special films, with on this day the focus on metal.

Before the concert of Zakk Sabbath you can watch this horror classic from 1963 giving Black Sabbath their name. In the Italian film with original title 'I Tre Volti della Paura' ('Three Faces Of Fear) Boris Karloff hosts a trio of horror stories concerning a stalked call girl, a vampire-like monster who preys on his family, and a nurse who is haunted by her ring's rightful owner.

With introduction by Ronald Simons from Eye Filmmuseum and The Cult Corner.
