Gare du Nord returns to Melkweg in 2026 to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The band first emerged as pioneers of the lounge scene with Pablo’s Blues and grew into an internationally recognized name thanks to their blend of jazz, soul and funk. On stage, they are known for energetic and atmospheric live shows where improvisation and pure joy of playing take center stage. For this anniversary tour, the full live band is back, with Leona Philippo as their powerful frontwoman.
The iconic album Sex ’n’ Jazz – featuring contributions from Marvin Gaye and Paul Carrack – became a true classic, spent nearly two years in the Album Top 100, and remains the best-selling Dutch jazz album of all time. Expect favorites like You’re My Medicine, Marvin & Miles and Beautiful Day, alongside timeless soul classics and a grand finale that proves why Gare du Nord still holds a unique place in Dutch music.
