Groundation

Support: Eliasse

Since the late 90's Groundation is leading the pack in American roots reggae. The band around singer/guitarist Harrison Stafford is known for their tight reggae grooves full of jazz, funk and dub elements, and is back with new music and a new line-up after a 3-year hiatus to burn down our OZ! The 9-piece band from California released their 9th studio album 'The Next Generation' in september, recorded all live on analogue equipement from the 70's and again filled with jazzy horns, powerful solo's, unique polyrhythmics and soulful harmony vocals. Support comes from Eliasse, from the East African Comoro Islands.
