After previous sold-out shows in Melkweg, the rock band Highly Suspect returns to Amsterdam. Known for their rock music, the band is certainly not afraid to explore multiple genres. The success of the band started with debut album 'Mister Asylum', which also earned them a Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Album". Success was also achieved with their record 'The Boy Who Died Wolf'. The single 'My Name Is Human' got them a Billboard #1 notation. In 2022, the band released their latest long player, 'The Midnight Demon Club', on which the band again blurs genres into their own unique sound that makes Highly Suspect!
The Picturebooks
The German duo The Picturebooks play heavy, blues rock music. Completely unique and with a big nod to rock n' roll in its purest form. The two have visited Melkweg a number of times in recent years and have toured quite a bit with bands such as Eagles of Death Metal, Kadavar, Monster Truck and Clutch.
