The leading London-based dubstep and bass crew HVYWGHT is coming to Amsterdam and joining forces with Sonic Boom. In recent years, any serious dubstep fan couldn’t ignore HVYWGHT, with their sharp line-ups and events at venues like Fabric, Corsica Studios, Open Ground, KOKO, and Outlook Festival.

Sonic Boom celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, so on Friday, May 1, we’re going big. Eindhoven’s Krackfree Soundsystem will, of course, be there again to deliver extra-deep bass and crystal-clear sound.

Digital Mystikz

The absolute pioneers of the genre: Mala and Coki, better known as Digital Mystikz. For over 25 years they’ve been an iconic duo, rarely performing together these days, but for HVYWGHT x Sonic Boom they’re making a very welcome exception.

Mia Koden

Mia Koden blends dubstep, garage and electro with a fresh perspective, creating a soulful, airy and sub‑heavy sound. With releases on Ilian Tape and DJ sets at Dekmantel and Draaimolen, she is a must‑have addition to the HVYWGHT x Sonic Boom lineup.

Beatrice M.

With releases on leading labels like Tempa, Tectonic and Rinse, and DJ sets that dive deep while blurring the lines between dubstep and techno, Beatrice M. has quickly proven to be an artist we can no longer ignore.

Lulá Luna

Lulá Luna moves between tension and space, rooted in earthy yet floating energies. Her sound revolves around deep frequencies, percussion, dub influences, breaks and the psychedelic edge of techno.

Brutuzz

For over 20 years, Brutuzz has been at the helm of Sonic Boom, captivating dance floors with deep dubstep, grime, electro, all kinds of broken beats, techno and everything in between.

Krackfree Soundsystem

The self‑built Eindhoven‑based Krackfree Soundsystem has been a cornerstone of the Sonic Boom nights for years. Festivals like Dekmantel and Le Guess Who also know exactly who to call for crystal‑clear, razor‑sharp and bass‑heavy sound.
