London-based experimental producer and poet John Glacier is coming to ADE! Her debut EP 'Shiloh' introduced an exciting blend of rap, punk and electro. In her music, she spreads honesty, humour, personality, tongue-in-cheek pop culture references ("I'm a glacier, that's why I look so deadly").
Recently released this year is "Like A Ribbon". With this release, John Glacier explores her multidisciplinary performance as a poet, rapper, music composer and now video director. Unlike the vulnerability of her debut, "Like A Ribbon" emerged from a desire to make music that is more laid back, stripped down and upbeat. Additional production comes from producers Vegyn and Flume, with a feature from Eartheater. On 16 October, John Glacier will perform during ADE with an intimate performance in our UP hall.
