London-based DJ and producer Nabihah Iqbal charts the waters where dance music and indie meet. On her second album "Dreamer" - released via Ninja Tune - she brings a melancholy blend of shoegaze, cold wave and dreampop that wouldn't be out of place in the musical lineage of Depeche Mode, Slowdive and Cocteau Twins. The album follows an intimate journey through snapshots and memories from Nabihah's life, exploring topics such as personal identity and grief, through a soft-focus lens of melancholia. On 22, we welcome the multi-artist for an intimate performance at the Upstairs.
