The 80-year old avant garde pioneer Philip Glass is coming back to Amsterdam Dance Event with his Days And Nights Festival program. Furthermore, the Amstel Saxophone Quartet & DJ/producer Kypski present 'Glass On The Roof' to celebrate the eightieth birthday of the composer.

Glass will perform together with Maki Namekawa and Dennis Russell Davies three piano works: 'Mad Rush' (1980), 'Four Movements For Two Pianos' (2008) and 'The Suite from Les Enfants Terribles' (1996). 'Glass On The Roof' consists of three compositions where the turntablist Kypski and the Quartet investigate their combined sound. This will be a night to remember!
