Simon Keizer rose to fame as part of the musical duo Nick & Simon, which he formed with Nick Schilder. After meeting Jan Smit, their career took off with the release of their debut album Nick & Simon. Eleven number-one albums later, Simon told Nick in 2022 that he wanted to end the duo. To conclude, they played six sold-out farewell concerts at Ahoy in 2023.
Since then, Simon has rediscovered his solo path. He picked up his guitar again and started creating new music. In 2025, he released his new solo album 'Ruimte' and appeared on Dutch television with the show Onvergetelijke Liedjes. In the spring of 2026, Simon Keizer will perform an exclusive show at the Melkweg!
