Squid are coming to our MAX! The Brighton-based quintet defy categorization, but expect a heavy dose of angular post-punk, packed with challenges and experimentation. With the raw, spoken-word vocals of drummer Ollie Judge, the band seamlessly shifts between explosive and more introspective tracks. The experience is heightened by improvisation, sharp guitars, and brass instruments! In 2023, they released their second album, 'O Monolith', a further step into an experimental and eclectic mix of jazz(rock), ambient, math pop, and krautrock. This evening will be all about the newly announced album, 'Cowards'!
