We Are Scientists

We Are Scientists is a New York-based indie rock band that was founded in 2000 in Berkeley, California, USA and consists of Keith Murray and Chris Cain. Since the departure of drummer Michael Tapper in 2007, We Are Scientists use guest musicians at live performances. The band makes thoughtful, sometimes epic, often loud, vaguely danceable music. Their style is inspired by artists such as The Rapture and David Bowie, Velvet Underground, My Bloody Valentine and Fleetwood Mac.
