Melkweg isn’t afraid to take risks by presenting Dutch acts on a major stage.
We are a non-profit organisation. At our concerts, club nights, film screenings and exhibitions, we offer plenty of space for young, talented artists and creators. We support and showcase upcoming artists in pop and underground culture long before they reach a wider audience. On top of that, we give young people who want to work behind the scenes a chance to take their first steps in a cultural career. With guidance, coaching and a real platform, we help them grow and gain valuable experience.
We generate most of our income ourselves, and we want to keep supporting young artists and creators into the future.
