The Toronto-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is back with the freshly released “Anniversary”: an evocative collection of original love songs. Lapell produced with Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers. The album was recorded at the 200-year-old St. Mark's Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Dekker helped create the haunting, resonant sound and lent his voice to a couple of enchanting duets. In the past five years, Lapell won three Canadian Folk Music Awards, was No. 1 on Canadian folk radio and has reached a whopping 48 million+ streams on digital music platforms.
