20:00 Doors 20:30 Steph Cameron 21:30 Abigail Lapell
Call it Prairie Noir or Canadiana Desert Rock: Abigail Lapell sings haunting, beautiful modern folk songs with fingerstyle guitar. The Toronto-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is back with the freshly released “Anniversary”: an evocative collection of original love songs. Lapell produced with Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers. The album was recorded at the 200-year-old St. Mark's Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Dekker helped create the haunting, resonant sound and lent his voice to a couple of enchanting duets. In the past five years, Lapell won three Canadian Folk Music Awards, was No. 1 on Canadian folk radio and has reached a whopping 48 million+ streams on digital music platforms.
Alongside Abigail, you'll hear the connecting music of Steph Cameron. Her new album “Blood Moon” plays on that sentiment and our connection to the earth, the sky and each other.
