What started at Encore and was followed by a sold-out show in the MAX in 2019, now sees Aminé returning to Melkweg — not for one, but two shows! On his latest album '13 Months of Sunshine', the Portland rapper makes his mark once again, following earlier successes like the mega hit 'Caroline; and his sun-soaked side project 'Kaytraminé' with Kaytranada.
Aminé’s roots lie in Ethiopia, where the calendar counts thirteen months. Combine that with his signature blend of eclectic rap, danceable hooks, and collaborations with artists like Leon Thomas and Toro Y Moi, and you've got a strong contender for album of the summer.
