What Rosalía did for flamenco, Ana Moura did for fado.
With fans like Prince and Mick Jagger, the Portugese-Angolese singer a is one of the most celebrated fado singers in the world, and also the youngest fado singer ever to be nominated for an Edison. In her youth, Moura was still experimenting with other genres such as pop and rock, but she has since released six successful fado albums. With her powerful voice and magnetic appeal on stage, she leaves no one unmoved. About ten years ago she visited Amsterdam during the Amsterdam Roots Festival, and soon she will climb the stage of our OZ!
