The multi-talented Laufey, who was still on our Upstairs stage in November 2022, is now bringing her dreamy jazz tunes about young love and self-discovery to our Max stage! The Icelandic-Chinese singer, composer, and producer grew up between Reykjavik, Washington D.C., and Beijing. From a young age, she drew inspiration from legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Chet Baker. While her sound is traditional, she appeals to a Gen-Z audience and has caught the attention of contemporary pop stars like Willow and Billie Eilish. We predicted back then that she was one to watch, and the glowing reviews of her debut album 'Everything I Know About Love' prove that we were right!
