Oliver Anthony is an American country folk singer who prefers to write for the working class. As a result, themes such as wages, taxes, and mental health often take center stage in his music. This is most evident in his single 'Rich Men North of Richmond', which went viral on YouTube in 2023. Following this hit, he released several more singles before dropping his debut album, 'Hymnal Of A Troubled Man's Mind', in 2024. The album is filled with the same kind of socially conscious lyrics, accompanied by Anthony's acoustic guitar, bass, and violin.
