Join We Should All Be Feminists for an inspiring morning full of energy, connection and action. Enjoy a tasty breakfast, listen to inspiring feminists and make your own protest sign.
We should all be feminists because we all benefit from gender equality. We can only achieve this together — and in this struggle we especially need men, right now, to speak out strongly against sexism and traditional norms of masculinity. So bring a (different) man along to our event and to the march. We need men for feminist change.
During the event we will also dive into the exhibition SK8GIRLS: Skateboarding as Act of Resistance. This exhibition presents female and queer skaters from around the world — people who, just like us during the march, are claiming space in a world often dominated by men. Their boards are more than sporting equipment: they are a form of resistance, identity and solidarity. The powerful images and stories show how they break barriers, create new spaces and write their own rules. Photographer Coco Olakunle, whose work is also featured in the exhibition, will take visitors on a short guided tour.
