On the anniversary of the death of the king of reggae Rootsriders return to the Max with their Tribute2BobMarley and their new show 'Legend35', a hommage to 'Legend', the famous compilation album that was released 3 years after Bob's death. The past decennia 'Legend' became one of the best selling albums of all time and made Bob the immortal legend he pretty much was already while being alive. Many classics can be found on the record, from protest songs like 'I Shot The Sheriff' and 'Get Up Stand Up', a spiritual like 'Redemption Song' to happy en more festive tracks like 'Stir It Up', 'Three Little Birds' and 'Could You Be Loved'.
Since 2017 Mo Ali from Sudan is the lead singer for Rootsriders, after being on tour already in 2015 as guest singer. Mo Ali is currently recording a record with Bob's old backing band The Wailers (including 3 original members from the 70's), something he is very proud of and rightly so (and us with him)! His talent hasn't gone unnoticed since he joined Rootsriders. Like to know more about the unique story of Mo Ali and how he joined Rootsriders?
