Shalamar returns to Melkweg! Shalamar is an American disco and soul group that was formed in the 1980's by background dancers Jeffrey Daniel and Jody Watley. Singer Howard Hewett joined the band soon after this and together they released a couple famous hits, such as, 'Take That To The Bank', 'The Second Time Around', and 'I Can Make You Feel Good'. The group stood out due to their trendy outfits and use of dance during their performances. Howard left the group in 1985, but reunited with Jeffrey in 2005. Shalamar released a new single in 2017, 'The Real Thing', with singer Carolyn Griffey. Enjoy an evening dancing to some great disco classics by Shalamar with Carolyn Griffey!
