The New York alternative rock band Spin Doctors was founded in the 1980s under the name Trucking Company. With the arrival of drummer Aaron Comess and Mark White on bass, it was time for a new name. In 1991, they gained worldwide fame thanks to the mega-hit 'Two Princes'—featuring one of the most iconic drum fills of the ’90s—and 'Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong'. Both hits are from their debut album, 'Pocket Full of Kryptonite' (1991), which brought the band immediate commercial success.
Over the course of their 35-year history, the Spin Doctors have gone through various musical phases. More recently, the band released the single 'Still A Gorilla' (2025), a fuzzy track that blends blues and garage rock, from the album 'Face Full of Cake'. On May 19, the Spin Doctors are coming to Amsterdam for a show at the OZ!
