The English glam-rock formation The Darkness became world famous in 2003 with their hard rock pastiche 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love'. The band toured stadiums and festivals with their big rock show, but in 2006 it all came to an end: singer Justin Hawkins had to quit and the band fell apart.
After 5 years they, fortunately, came back together in the original line-up and the interest in the band again increased. The group that has made a classical hard rock with a wink to glam rock its trademark will release their sixth studio album in October, "Easter is canceled".
After which they will defy the ocean to blow off the roof of Melkweg with Hard Rock as intended, not too serious and even better live.
