The Doors: When You’re Strange (2009)

The chemistry between the four musicians made The Doors one of America's most influential rock bands. Featuring rare footage filmed from their formation in 1965 until Jim Morrison's death in 1971, When You're Strange follows the band through their career. In addition, Tom DiCillo's Grammy Award-winning film, narrated by Johnny Depp, offers insight into the revolutionary influence of their music. To mark the band's 60th anniversary, the film will be shown in cinemas for the first time ever in 4K, with a newly recorded performance of ‘Riders on the Storm’. John Densmore, Robby Krieger and special guests perform the song in exotic locations around the world, in collaboration with Playing For Change.
