Melkweg is also your go to place for movies, with new and classical music documentaries and the very best Japanese anime in our cozy Cinema on the top floor, and sometimes the Max or Rabozaal. Together with In-Edit, Kaboom, IDFA, IFFR, Caribbean Creativity and Steppin' Into Tomorrow, we look for the most beautiful gems, often with special introductions, Q&As and live music. There is also room for new talent with CineRadar!

IN-EDIT is back! From 11 to 21 April the sixth edition of the music documentary festival takes place at the Melkweg. Again many great music films will be screened this year, with films about The Rolling Stones, J Dilla, Gogol Bordello, Joan Baez, Cypress Hill, The Mars Volta, Fatboy Slim, Die Antwoord, Lil Nas X, Cyndi Lauper, Efterklang, Santana and more.
