Founded in 1974, The Stranglers gained prominence in the punk scene of the 70s and 80s due to their 'no bullshit attitude.' With the albums 'Rattus Norvegicus' and 'No More Heroes,' The Stranglers solidified their name in 1977. Thanks to their distinctive sound, blending clever melodies with a dark aggression and effortless coolness, The Stranglers are now considered one of the most influential bands from the punk era.
In 2024, the band is set to celebrate a significant milestone: their fiftieth anniversary! To mark this occasion, they are heading to Amsterdam for a concert at our MAX!
