On the surface, American indie pop formation TV Girl is one giant sunny throwback to French '60s pop and southern soul from California. Yet beneath that shiny layer lurks a dark edge, with a sharp wit and sometimes cynical distance. The group consisting of Brad Petering, Jason Wyman and Wyatt Harmon was formed back in 2010, started as an outlet where the three could express their love for Phil Spector-esque "girl music," as well as their interest in hip-hop. In 2014, the trio released their first well-received album called "French Exit." Now four studio albums later, the band has proven to be an inspiration for other musicians with a youthful and romantic style. To be seen at our venue for the very first time this fall!
