A platform for the next generation
Why are we asking for this? As a non-profit organisation, we provide space for emerging artists to develop. This is often where they get their first real opportunities to grow. Artists like S10, Sophie Straat, and even Little Simz and Billie Eilish once played our smallest rooms before reaching a wider audience. The next generation still needs that support too — on stage and behind the scenes. We don’t just guide performers, but also young people building careers in production, booking, design and other roles behind the scenes.
Supporting new talent and emerging subcultures is part of our DNA. We’re a place where new ideas can take shape and creative voices can grow, without needing to have it all figured out from the start. This accessibility is something we value deeply.
As we have to generate most of our own income, we rely on the kind support of our visitors. Your contribution helps us continue to make space for new voices, experimentation and artistic development in the future.
