The Berlin-based duo AFAR creates experimental krautrock joined by dark ambient and haunting vocals. Doing so, they seek to bridge the distance between the natural and the industrial. In some spaces, AFAR might build dance-oriented rhythms layered with haunting vocals. Whereas in others, the band creates moments of ambience composed of multi-instrumental soundscapes.
On March 23, AFAR will perform an intimate show at Melkweg in our UP hall.
