Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters

American director, actor and singer Billy Bob Thornton is coming to the Netherlands with his band The Boxmasters. With his good friend J.D. Andrew, Billy Bob has been touring the world since 2007. With a strong predilection for American- Roots rock, the duo has managed to build a solid fan base in all those years. They already opened for greats such as ZZ Top, Steve Miller, Kid Rock and George Thorogood, and this summer they will perform our OZ hall.

For this evening, Billy Bob and The Boxmasters are bringing a bunch of very special guests with Bubbles & The Shitrockers! The rabid country formation originated in the mockumentary series Trailer Park Boys, which closely follows the booze-fueled adventures of door criminals Ricky, Julian and Bubbles. As the band itself says, they are "just like a real band now," and with features by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, we agree that you better take them seriously!
