Celine Cairo

Amsterdam singer-songwriter Celine Cairo moves between subtle indie folk and sizzling pop. With two studio albums and several EPs, she has developed her own sound, in which intimacy and power alternate. With her debut album 'Free Fall', recorded in Los Angeles and featuring the streaming hit Hibernate, she reached a new international audience; her songs were streamed millions of times and found their way into American series.

The follow-up 'Overflow' was created between London and Amsterdam, in collaboration with British producer Tim Bran (London Grammar, Birdy). Live, Celine and her regular band have been enchanting both small and larger venues for years, with a dynamic that effortlessly transitions from intimate guitar songs to a more robust, but always refined live sound. Her performance at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam was called “an oasis of beauty” by NRC, while Oor wrote, “Celine is ready for the big time.” In 2026, she will return to Amsterdam with her band and play her first solo show at Melkweg.
