Celine Cairo

Amsterdam singer Celine Cairo makes poetic indie pop about the tension between darkness and light, the loss of our nature, being a woman, and her struggles with mental health. After her electronically oriented debut “Freefall” earned her a Silver Nutcracker Award, the Amsterdam native immersed herself in nature to write and travel. The dreamy follow-up, “Overflow”, was produced by British producer Tim Bran, who previously worked with London Grammar and Birdy. On Thursday 18 June, the singer will give an intimate performance at our OZ.
