The Amsterdam pop band Drukwerk was founded in 1978 by singer Harry Slinger and musicians Ton Coster, Joop May and Hans Witteveen. At the end of the seventies they became known for their protest songs, and in 1981 the band launched their first LP with the single 'Je Loog Tegen Mij', which reached number 1 in the Dutch Top 40 and can still be found in the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000.
