The American indie pop formation half-alive immediately delivered an enjoyable indie favorite with "Now, Not Yet" in 2019. The pop songs of this trio from Long Beach move between a wide range of styles, including rock, R&B, funk, and touches of disco. As ever, the gentlemen make it their mission to make their music as contemporary as possible. This year, they've already succeeded in doing just that, with incisive tracks like "What's Wrong" and "Make Of It.
