The English singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone grew up in a small village where nothing musical happened. So, she decided to do her own thing which has certainly paid off. From being an unknown singer playing her parents piano, she has become one of the most exciting alternative pop stars of her generation. Holly Humberstone's dark, cinematic, and particularly candid music is often compared to that of Lorde and Bon Iver. The singer herself says she draws inspiration from Damien Rice and Phoebe Bridgers. In September, she released her latest single 'Into Your Room,' and in February, you'll hear her new album 'Paint My Room Black,' which is set to be released in October, on our Max!
