The 23-year-old Inci Gürün, also known as INJI, came into the spotlight in 2022 after releasing her debut single 'GASLIGHT', in which she mixes dance-pop and electronic elements with lyrics that, according to the singer, shouldn't be taken too seriously. The song, along with her second single 'MADELINE', went viral on TikTok, drawing millions of people interested in her music. Following this success, she collaborated with fellow students to create new music, album covers, and music videos, leading to the release of her first EP 'LGF' in 2023. Earlier this year, her latest single 'HATE YOUR GUTS' was released, a song about moving on from her first love. On Wednesday, October 23, the singer will make her Melkweg debut with a show in our OZ!
