With an extensive career spanning some 60 years, Jan Akkerman is one of the most respected guitarists in the Netherlands. With the progressive rock band Focus, Akkerman was able to tour worldwide in the 1970s and built an impressive international career.
During this evening - part of the Walk Of My Life tour - Akkerman's long musical career will take center stage. The set list includes songs from Johnny & His Cellar Rockers, The Hunters, Brainbox and Focus to solo pieces from his latest album "Close Beauty" (2019). On stage next to Jan is singer Phil Bee (known from The Voice Senior, among others) and his more than excellent band (Coen Molenaar, Marijn van den Berg and David de Marez Oijens). 2022 will be his anniversary year and this show still has the incomparable Jan Akkerman as its shining centerpiece!
