'One Piece Film: Red' is a new Japanese anime by Gorō Taniguchi for Toei Animation. It is the fifteenth installment of the One Piece film series, based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Eiichiro. The premiere in September was completely sold out, so for anyone who missed it then, another chance - with English subtitles!
The film is about Uta, the world's most beloved singer known for hiding her identity during her performances. Now, for the very first time, Uta will show herself to the world during a concert on the music island of Elegia. This attracts the attention of pirates, the Navy and Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hats crew. They all come to the concert to enjoy Uta's voice, which is described as otherworldly. However, the event begins with a shocking revelation: Uta is the estranged daughter of Red-Haired Shanks - Luffy's great idol.
