Sam Tompkins spent years as a street musician in his hometown of Brighton before securing a record deal with renowned label Island Records. His breakthrough came through YouTube, where he posted his cover of Drake's 'Hold On We're Going Home', which became a viral sensation and introduced the wider audience to his unique voice and edgy pop sound infused with influences of R&B and hip-hop.
