The Lemon Twigs are brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, whose distinctive sense of melody and nostalgia has earned them a unique place within contemporary indie pop. On 24 September, they will take to the stage at Melkweg with their latest album, Look For Your Mind!

The duo’s music draws from the rich history of sixties and seventies guitar pop, yet feels playful and idiosyncratic. With layered harmonies, theatrical influences and a keen ear for songwriting, they build on tradition without becoming constrained by it. Live, this translates into energetic performances where craftsmanship and spontaneity go hand in hand.

Look For Your Mind!

On their latest album Look For Your Mind!, a subtle undercurrent of paranoia and unease runs beneath its bright pop exterior . The record builds on their recent work but feels more focused and refined, with an expanded band line-up adding new depth and movement. Fresh collaborations bring a greater sense of freedom, while the songs balance classic influences with unexpected turns. The result is an album that feels familiar, yet constantly keeps you on your toes.
