The Marías create both Spanish and English indie pop songs that are delightfully trippy and sensual. The L.A. group was formed in 2016 by Puerto Rican-American singer María Zardoya and her partner Josh Conway (drums). After their rock-solid debut (with Grammy nomination!), the group will release the long-awaited follow-up record 'Submarine' on 31 May. The album takes a nostalgic and cinematic dive into psychedelic indie pop and rock, accompanied by sultry vocals. On 4 November, the band will come to Amsterdam for the very first time, for a show at our MAX hall.
