After just the first bars of Young Gun Silver Fox, you'll find yourself on Highway 1 near the Pacific Ocean and swaying Californian palm trees. This British-American duo's sonorous soft-pop is an unmistakable nod to Californian music and American soul, with acts like The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, Seals & Crofts and The Eagles at the wheel.

Last October, the band released their fourth and finest work to date, the aptly titled Ticket To Shangri La, a culmination of everything the band do best. A record that transports you to musical paradise the second the piano stabs of opener ‘Still Got It Goin’ On’ kick in and the one-two sucker punch of second track (and the albums lead single) ‘West Side Jet’ lifts you off your feet with its four to the floor rhythm and joy-inducing chorus.

After their sold out show in our OZ five years ago, we're looking forward to their return to our stage with a show in the Max hall this summer!
