Punk legends with a capital P. Descendents have been making waves in the Los Angeles punk scene since the 1980s. With records like 'Everything Sucks' and 'Milo Goes To College', the gentlemen have built up a repertoire full of brutal hardcore songs. In it, frontman Milo Aukerman sings about coffee, broken hearts and the hatred of your parents as a teenager.

The band started as a power trio in 1978 with bassist Tony Lombardo, drummer Bill Stevenson and guitarist Frank Navetta. But soon vocalist Milo Aukerman joined the trio. As a foursome, the typical Descendent album followed in 1982, which was also their debut, 'Milo Goes To College'. Know for its fusion of catchy melodies with raw, spastic energy (henceforward known as “power pop”, “melodic hardcore”, or the ever popular “pop punk”).
