If you are a South African, changes are great that you’ve heard about the legendary Fokofpolisiekar. You could have heard about them from your parents, uncle, auntie, older sibling, boyfriend, girlfriend or even your peers, as the band has been around for that long and still going strong.

The above-mentioned people would have either turned you on to the band or they (the more conservative one’s) would have warned you to steer clear from it. Either way, hopefully you did listen to it and became a fan. And if FOKOF did a good enough job, they hopefully changed your life, even if just in a small way.

It has been 20 years since the band released their breakout debut “As Jy Met Vuur Speel Sal Jy Brand”. The time has now come to celebrate two decades of the iconic Afrikaans rock pioneers.

FOKOF will be bringing their highly energetic and explosive live performance to the Netherlands. They will come with a zeal and energy that only a band who has been together for two decades can have.

Twenty years of FOKOF will be packed with a career-spanning set filled with, not only the classics (“Ek skyn (Heilig)”, “Hemel Op Die Platteland” and “Antibiotika”), but also more recent favorites (“Komma”, P”arkiebank, Herfs 2017” and “Ons Is Die Virus) and a few of the band’s personal favorites.
