Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, aka CMAT, is returning to Melkweg! After breaking up with her partner in music duo Bad Sea - and in real life - she released her first solo album in Februrary 2022: 'If My Wife New I'd Be Dead'. The countrypop singer stole the hearts of the Irish with her angelic voice and her honest lyrics, and won the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year in March 2023. After this success, her music reached the rest of the world: she even played a show in our Upstairs last year! In October, CMAT will release her second album named 'Crazymad, for Me', and in February 2024 she will hold a show in the OZ!
