Master Boot Record combines heavy metal riffs and electronic beats with the retro sounds of vintage computers and chip music, resulting in a unique sound that is instantly recognizable. The driving force behind this synth-metal is the Italian artist Victor Love. His love for computers is reflected in his numerous records released on the renowned label Metal Blade Records. With tracks often named after computer commands, Master Boot Record creates metal chiptune compositions with a dark, apocalyptic atmosphere, which Love describes as: 'I am a 486DX-33MHz-64MB processing avant-garde chiptune, synthesized heavy metal & classical symphonic music. 100% Synthesized, 100% Dehumanized.'
