On February 16th, Novastar will release the new album, 'The Best Is Yet To Come,' a unique compilation featuring new versions of his greatest hits and, as an extra treat, a brand-new song. Leading up to his performance at the Royal Theater Carré and in the context of this album, Novastar will be giving a special and intimate performance at our UP! venue. Joost aims to present his album to the press and fans during an exclusive preview, followed by ample time for questions and interaction.
'The Best Is Yet To Come' involved months of work in studios both in Belgium and the UK. A top team of musicians was assembled, including pianist Mikey Rowe (Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds), guitarist Andy Britton (Top Gear soundtracks), guitarist Skin Tyson (Robert Plant), drummer Keith Prior (David Gray), and bassist Erik Rademakers (Selah Sue). The goal for the album was to capture a live feel, and with these talented individuals, Joost succeeded. It turned out so well that Joost was able to fulfill his childhood dream. Alongside this British band, he entered the renowned "Studio 2" at Abbey Road Studios, exactly where his idols, The Beatles, recorded their greatest successes, completing the crown on these recording sessions.
